Joy Barthelmes

I am a California girl who moved to Colorado Springs in 2008 for the love of the mountains and clean air. I graduated with a business administration degree and have been in sales and finance ever since. I have been in the mortgage industry for over 15 years and been doing home loans for the past 13 years now. I specialize in VA loans and new builds as we have partnered with several builders in town to be their preferred lender.  I prioritize clear communication, personalized guidance, and finding the best loan for each client’s unique needs and goals. I have a deep understanding of the mortgage industry and a commitment to making sure my clients have a smooth and stress-free home buying process. I work hard and play even harder. When I am not working up mortgage loans, you could find me either on the tennis court, out for a hike, or catching a Pilates class at Club Pilates Monument. I also enjoy playing Pickleball with my parents (and their friends) or meeting friends for Happy Hour at Flying Horse Steakhouse. I love to travel and drink wine. My favorite vacation was a 10 day safari in Kenya, Africa; I look forward to the day I can go again and bring my parents with me.
